BECKMAN INNOVATION GRANTS

Overview

The Beckman Innovation Grants Program was established by the Beckman High School PTO with the objective of working side-by-side with educators and parents to support and promote quality public education for every student at Beckman High School with the resources they need to be successful. The Beckman Innovation Grants Program awards grants to support the planning and implementation of innovative student programs and offer funds for teachers to create enriching curriculum/ programs for their students at Beckman High School in the Tustin Unified School District. 

Eligibility

The applicant must be a teacher or a student program/organization at Beckman High School in the Tustin Unified School District.

Terms & Conditions

Each teacher or student program/organization may only submit ONE APPLICATION per school year.  Applications are reviewed annually, and approved grants are not guaranteed for years thereafter.   

 

All applications for the grant will be judged against the following criteria:

1. This grant is for a successful project/program demonstrating the potential to improve an educational goal. The project or program should promote the importance of education, STEM, sports, and arts and be supported by current school policy.

2. Program must encourage innovative ways to motivate and involve students in learning. 

3. Project should demonstrate the potential to impact student learning and enrichment. 

4. Demonstration of the ability of the applicant(s) to undertake and complete the project.

5. A detailed budget and clarity of purpose.

6. The Grants Committee may invite the applicant to meet with the committee to present the grant proposal. 

7. The grant recipient may be invited to present the program at a PTO meeting after completing the project.
